We understand the importance of caring for your children in a safe and effective way. With all of the services we provide, you can be rest assured that your children are in good hands in our ANN Maternity Nurse Care.
Arriving home with your new baby can be extremely tiring. Your assigned Ann Maternity Nurse will live with your family and provide you with invaluable support and knowledge from the time you arrive home with your new baby for normally 6 -12 weeks by which time a good routine would have been established. Our Maternity Nurses are on call 24 hours a day for 5 or 6 days per week depending on individual requirements.
ANN Maternity Nurse can provide invaluable advice on a variety of issues including:
Developing feeding routines
Bathing and changing the baby
Sleep Training
Helping to deal with post-natal depression
Breast or bottle feeding techniques
Winding
Reflux & Colic
Teething
All Maternity Nurses who apply to work with us must pass our stringent screening process before we can place them with a family. All our Maternity Nurses must have:
Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Enhanced DBS Check (Disclosure and Barring Check)
Many would have completed training courses in:
Breast and Bottle Feeding
Post Natal Depression (PND)
Weaning
Sleep Training
Multiple Babies
Formal qualifications held by our Maternity Nurses may include:
NNEB (Nursery Nurse Examination Board) CACHE Level 3
NVQ
MANNTA (Maternity And Newborn Nanny Training Academy)
NAMCW (National Association of Maternal and Child Welfare)
BTEC Nursery Nursing
